Introduction
The pasting line is designed for pasting pure lead grids. All components are designed to avoid damage to soft grids and plates. The double-sided orifice paster allows for pasting thin plates. The entire line is automated to ensure high uniform quality and reduce labor costs.

Components
Double De-Coiler for grid strip
Speed is adjusted automatically to to match the pasting speed. Only a slowdown necessary to changeover from one coil to the next.
Pasting Machine
Orifice paster allows for independent adjustment of top and bottom pasting
Ultrasonic assisted hopper for fast and even paste flow
Precise tolerance for thin plates with good over-pasting coverage and flat surface area for better contact to separator
Flash Dry Oven
The FDO speed is controlled by the pasting line with temperature adjusted accordingly.
Cutter unit
The optically controlled, no-touch, electronic cutter cuts both the lug and side frames in one process. The plate band is run flat to avoid deformation.
Hi-Speed Robots and Pallet Holder
The system is designed to process pure lead battery plates at up to 40 meters per minute. Plates are placed in magazines and loaded in the pallets 4 stacks at a time. A robot loads precisely into custom-made pallets on a tilted Pallet Holding Fixture.
